Do I need to have an appointment to try on wedding dresses?
Appointments are required in order to ensure one of our bridal consultants is available to assist you and guarantee the availability of one of our bridal fitting rooms. To make an appointment , please call us at (815) 609-0031 or text (815) 733-8070.
How long will my appointment last?
Each bridal appointment is 90 minutes long. This allows you enough time to browse through the dresses with your stylist, try on 8-10 gowns, narrow down your selection and make an educated decision on which dress is “the one.”
How many guests should I bring the day of my appointment?
We know that shopping for a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and finding “the one” should be a special, memorable moment, shared with your closest family and friends. In order to provide comfortable seating for all of your guests, we have a 4 guest limit. What is the price range of the dresses at your store?
Our wedding dresses range from $1400 to $2600. Our average price is around $1800. We occasionally offer discontinued styles at discount pricing. Your stylist will work closely with you to ensure you are comfortable with the price range of gowns selected.
What size wedding dress samples do you have in store?
Our sample gowns range in size from 8-30, and are happy to represent inclusive sizing with more than 60 dresses sizes 16-30.
How long do wedding dresses take to come in after they are ordered?
It takes approximately four to six months for a dress to arrive in store. We recommend a minimum of two months for alterations. Ideally, you should try to order your gown a minimum of nine months prior to your wedding so you can avoid the rush fees and enjoy the experience. If you are planning a shorter engagement, no problem! We have many rush options available and are able to sell many dresses right off the rack at a discount.
Do you do alterations in the store, and what is the price?
The style of the dress is nothing without the perfect fit, and we are here to help you every step of the way. We have three independent bridal seamstresses who will meet with you at the bridal shop for your alterations fittings. Please plan on meeting with your seamstress a minimum of 2-3 times to ensure a perfect fit. Alterations fees are separate from the price of the gown and depend on how extensive the work is. Please ask your seamstress for an estimate.
